With exciting growth plans, we are looking for a highly capable and motivated Finance Manager to support our Finance Director in driving financial performance, ensuring robust controls, and supporting strategic decision-making.
The Role
As Finance Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day financial operations and play a key role in managing the finance function of the business. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commercial mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the preparation of monthly management accounts, forecasts, and budgets
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to the Finance Director and senior leadership team
- Manage cash flow and working capital, including forecasting and reporting
- Supervise and support a small finance team
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
- Coordinate with external auditors and manage the year-end audit process
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions
- Implement and improve financial processes and systems to support growth
- Work closely with department heads to support financial planning and control across the business
What We're Looking For:
- Part Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within an SME environment
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and financial reporting skills
- Excellent Excel skills and experience with accounting systems (e.g. Xero, or similar)
- Ability to communicate clearly with non-finance stakeholders
- A proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to roll up your sleeves
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
