With exciting growth plans, we are looking for a highly capable and motivated Finance Manager to support our Finance Director in driving financial performance, ensuring robust controls, and supporting strategic decision-making.

The Role

As Finance Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day financial operations and play a key role in managing the finance function of the business. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commercial mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the preparation of monthly management accounts, forecasts, and budgets
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting to the Finance Director and senior leadership team
  • Manage cash flow and working capital, including forecasting and reporting
  • Supervise and support a small finance team
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
  • Coordinate with external auditors and manage the year-end audit process
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions
  • Implement and improve financial processes and systems to support growth
  • Work closely with department heads to support financial planning and control across the business

What We're Looking For:

  • Part Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE
  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within an SME environment
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and financial reporting skills
  • Excellent Excel skills and experience with accounting systems (e.g. Xero, or similar)
  • Ability to communicate clearly with non-finance stakeholders
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to roll up your sleeves
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
